CROWDER, Mr. Willie H. "Peter Berry"Son of Sallie L. Berry and Will H. Crowder. Was born in Nashville, TN on November 5, 1945. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 4, 2012. He was a graduate of Haynes High School, Class of 1964. In August 1964, he enlisted in the US Navy to pursue his childhood dream. He completed 27 years of honorable military service, attaining the highest enlisted ranking of Master Chief Petty Officer. He is survived by a daughter, Stacey C. (Mario) Gethers; 2 grandchildren, Mario Gethers, Jr. and Rebecca A. Gethers all of Moncks Corner, SC; siblings, George A. (Mike) Berry, Freddie S. Berry, Flora L. Berry and Lucy E. (Missy) Johnson; close friend, La Rue Miller of Jacksonville, FL; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012, 11 a.m. at GETHERS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 200 Grace St., Moncks Corner, SC 29461, 843-761-8519.
