David F. Guidotti
David F. Guidotti, 72, of Salinas, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013. He was born June 29, 1940, in Salinas.
David was a Mason for 27 years. He was a 20 year member of American Legion Post 31, and ECV (Clampers). He served in the United States Marines Corps.
After graduating from Salinas High School in 1958, he proudly joined the Marines and served our country. He was a 20 year member of the American Legion where he was also a past commander. He was very active in the American Legion, loved country dancing and karaoke. Dave was a good-hearted man, loving husband, father, step-father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Letty Guidotti; brother, Louis Guidotti Jr.; and stepson, Douglas.
David is survived by wife, Vella M. Guidotti of Salinas; sons, Anthony (Cassandra) Guidotti of Antioch, John (Amber) Guidotti of Martinez; daughter, Gina (Lowell) Guidotti-Smith of Concord; father, Louis Guidotti of Salinas; stepsons, Leon (Judy), Terry and Randy; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA 93901.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA. 93901.
Burial with full military honors will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott St., Salinas, CA 93901.
