Nolan Richard Martindale, 83, passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side. He was born in Sheridan, WY on April 4, 1930 and lived in Salinas for the past 75 years.
Nolan retired as an electrician and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #31 of Salinas, member and past governor of the Salinas Moose Lodge, and a member of the Electrician's Union, ICEW.
Nolan is survived by his wife, Wlima Jean Martindale; and children, Shellie Ford, Jeanne Dahl, and David Schmeeckle. He also leaves a sister, Anita Linrite; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Martindale.
