Louis S. Toffenetti

AGE: 87 • Vineland

Louis S. Toffenetti, 87, of Vineland, NJ returned to our Lord on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014 while at home in the company of his family. Louis was born in Vineland to the late Mary and Oreste Toffenetti on December 31, 1926. He was a 1945 graduate of Vineland High School and served our country in the U. S. Navy until being honorably discharged. Atlantic City Electric and the City of Vineland Electric Utility employed Louis, a certified master electrician, for more than 35 years. During that time he earned a certification in industrial electronics from DeVry Institute, Chicago, Ill. Throughout his lifetime Louis enjoyed various hobbies and sports. Unknown to many he was an avid artist and enjoyed drawing until his death. He was a member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.

Louis is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Susan Toffenetti; daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Dennis Hill; sister, Mary Colla; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Toffenetti; brothers, Max and Steven Toffenetti and his sister, Adeline Ochetto.

A Church Visitation will be on Thursday, August 28 from 9:15am to 10:45am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Saint Padre Pio Parish- Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland, NJ. Burial will be in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. At the families request in lieu of flowers donations in memory of Louis may be made to: Saint Padre Pio Parish, 4680 Dante Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08361-6810.
