Nelson "Donnie" "Tiger" Cramer Jr., 71, of Millville went with the Lord on Friday July 12, 2013, at home with his family by his side. He recently was baptized and saved and now walks with the Lord.
Donnie was the son of the late Nelson D. and Henrietta Whildin Cramer Sr. and the husband of Evelyn Blizzard Cramer. He grew up in Port Norris and resided in Millville most of his life. Donnie retired from Wheaton's as a pipe fitter after 30 years. He owned several businesses: Cramer Transport, Cramer Trucking, Cramer Construction, and C&C Construction. He also retired from J.D. Trucking after 15 years. He was a member of the Eagles and Moose lodges and was a member of the VFW.
Donnie was a loving, hard working husband, father and grandfather. He had a great sense of humor and was the rock of our family.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Cramer; sons, Nelson D. Cramer III (Theresa) and Don M. Cramer (Sheree); daughters, Kim Vocolos (Joe Y) and Jaime Cramer (Bill); sister, Betty Ann Corona (Mike); grandchildren, Bruce, Katelyn, Bradi, Megan, Amanda, Deanna, Taeler, Gage, Zachary, Rylie, Kelsi, and Katelyn's significant other and caretaker to Donnie's Jeremy; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Patti Hoffman, and brother, Peanut.
A memorial service will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Homes, 2507 High St., Port Norris, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 6 p.m.
