Sandra L. Wagner

Sandra L. Wagner (nee Tripolites), 46, of Cedarville passed away late Sunday evening, September 22, 2013 at Cooper Hospital / University Medical Center in Camden. The wife of Peter C. Wagner, she was born in South Amboy and was the daughter of Nickolas and Shirley (nee Weeks) Tripolites of Laurence Harbor. A graduate of Cedar Ridge High School, Sandy matriculated at Penn State University in State College, PA and received her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Maryland. Since 1997 she had been a first grade teacher at the Myron L. Powell School in Cedarville. Sandy was a member of the West Park United Methodist Church where she volunteered with Vacation Bible School and was a substitute Sunday school teacher. She supported her children and the Cumberland Regional Swim program and she loved to travel. She had also been a 4-H leader with the "Crazy Critters" 4-H club.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by one daughter, Cassidy J. Wagner and one son, Nickolas C. Wagner and her grandson, Nickolas "Chase" Wagner who called his beloved grandmother, "Ya Ya." Sandy is also survived by three sisters, Shirley Letizia (Gary) of Laurence Harbor, Cathy Dollear (Dave) of Aberdeen and Nicki Francis (Ryan) of Keyport and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Sandy's life on Sunday afternoon September 29th at one o'clock at the West Park United Methodist Church, 625 Shiloh Pike, Hopewell Township with Pastor David L. Strope officiating. Cremation and inurnment took place privately at Laurel Lawn Crematory in Upper Deerfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to a trust fund for "Chase" Wagner, c/o Colonial Bank, Attn: Tonya Spindler, 85 W. Broad Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
