Harold "Hal" Haver
Harold "Hal" Haver, 79 of Indian Wells, California passed away on February 17, 2014. He was born on June 27, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a graduate of the University of Iowa. Hal worked for 40 years in the banking industry in the Midwest. He served in several capacities at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. He was very active with The Tools for Tomorrow Educational Program for local children. He was a member of Indian Ridge and Indian Wells Country Clubs. Hal is survived by his companion, Elaine Prukop; daughter: Susie Lye of Tulsa, Okla.; son: Steve Haver of Reading, Pa.; his sister; Joyce Tritschler and four Grandchildren: Jeremy, Kelsey, Carter and Anna. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Palm Desert, Calif. The family suggests donations be made to Tools for Tomorrow or St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. FitzHenry-Wiefels Palm Desert has been entrusted with arrangements.
