Niccole Lynn Holly died on Sunday, June 16, 2013 after a tragic car accident. She was born April 30, 1982 in Palm Springs, Calif. Niccole graduated from Cathedral City High School in 2000. She is survived by her fiancee and long time love, Joey Hounsell of Palm Desert, her parents Doug and Anna Holly of Cathedral City, Paul and Alice Piens of Palm Springs, and Richard and Pat Hounsell of Palm Desert, her four brothers Brian Holly, Cody Piens, Garrett Piens, and Alex Sanchez, her sister Missy Holly and her niece Evie of Morongo Valley, her grandparents Jerry Dirnberger of Palm Springs, Don and Jackie Holly of Yucca Valley and Babcia Zosia of Cathedral City. Niccole worked as a massage therapist for Massage Envy in Palm Desert and We Care Spa in Desert Hot Springs. Niccole was very passionate about art, equal rights and helping others. She was a former board member of the Palm Springs chapter of HRC (Human Rights Campaign) and just completed her 3rd year on the ALC (Aids Life Cycle) which is a 7-day bike ride that raises money and awareness for the HIV and AIDS , in which she volunteered as a Massage Therapist for the riders. She also worked at the Desert Sun for over ten years and was an assistant art teacher for the youth program at The Palm Springs Art Museum. Her services will be held at Wiefels Mortuary in Palm Springs (690 Vella Rd ) June 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM with a reception to follow at The Elks Lodge in Cathedral City (67491 E Palm Canyon Dr) We ask that in lieu of flowers people make donations to "Niccole Holly's Memorial Fund" which you can donate to at any Wells Fargo bank, there will also be a donation box at services. All donations will be split equally between The HRC and The ALC. Niccole was a beautiful, kind and loving soul, she will be in our hearts forever.
