Warner O. (Bud) Kirkeby died at home in Rancho Mirage, California, surrounded by his family on May 7, 2013. Born in Clarkfield, Minn. to Daniel and Nellie Kirkeby on July 12, 1918, Bud was the middle child with older sister, Deloris and younger brother, Rodger. (All deceased.) Bud served in World War II in Africa and Italy. After the war he married Juanita Miller (deceased) of Montevideo, Minn. A devoted family man, he leaves behind his loving children: Steve Kirkeby (Adrienne), Jana Kelly (Mike), and Julie Levy (Jeremy). Warner is also the proud Grandfather of Daniel Kirkeby; Max and Annie Kelly; Adam, Daniel and Maia Levy; Scott Radous. He was a loving uncle to Mick (Jennifer), Laura and Amber; and David Kirkeby. His sister-in-law, Franceil Kirkeby, pre-deceased him. Bud enjoyed people and made friends everywhere he went. He liked hunting and fishing, and spending summers at Lake Minnewaska, but Bud was most passionate about golf. His favorite country clubs included: Redfield, S.D.; Wagner, S.D.; Ellendale, N.D.; Minnewaska and Pezhekee, Glenwood, Minn.; Waterford, Venice, Fla.; and Mission Hills, Rancho Mirage, Calif.
