Ronald G. Uccellini

Mr. Ronald G. Uccellini, 74, husband of Hilde Stang Uccellini passed away at his home in Westport, CT on Friday September 6th with his family by his side.
Ronald was born in Norwalk, CT on September 26, 1938. Son of the late Bert and Elizabeth (Kaiser) Uccellini. He was a lifelong resident of Westport and graduate of Staples High School. Ronald was a U.S. Army Veteran. He owned and operated Allan's Clam House in Westport and Allan's East in Stratford with his family. For the past six years he has worked for Star Inc. in Norwalk, CT. He was an avid boater and fisherman, spending untold hours on Long Island Sound catching bluefish and bass.
Survivors in addition to his wife Hilde of nineteen years, include his son Darrick Uccellini, his daughter Nancy Schlussel, her husband Drew, and his two grandchildren, Sierra and Jackson; his two brothers, Wayne Uccellini and his wife Karen, Douglas Uccellini and his wife Sally, two sisters; Cheryl Spillane and her husband Edward, Janis Pascarella and her husband James, as well as many nieces and nephews; his stepson Steven Koch and his wife Molly; and grandchild of his heart, Will Mezzullo. Ronald was predeceased by his first wife Judith Uccellini and one stepson, John Koch.
The family will receive friends in the Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Road East Westport, CT on Tuesday September 10th from 4PM to 8PM. Friends and family are welcome to attend the funeral on Wednesday September 11th at 10:00 AM meeting directly at Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, CT for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow immediately after at the Assumption Cemetery, 73 Greens Farms Road Westport, CT. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Star Inc., a non-profit for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
