Rollins, Charles Edward Sr. "Chick"

Ithaca: Charles Edward Rollins Sr. "Chick", 87, of Ithaca, New York passed away at Cayuga Medical Center on February 18, 2013. Mr. Rollins was predeceased by his mother and father, Agnes M. Rollins and Henry L. Rollins of Owego, NY; sisters Margaret E. Rollins of Owego, and Betty Marshall of Owego; brothers: Henry R. Rollins, Owego, and George H. Rollins of Cleveland, Ohio. He is survived by his loving daughter, Marlene A. Personius; and his loving son, Charles E. Rollins Jr., both of Ithaca, NY; a brother, James Rollins of Binghamton, NY; sisters, Helen Louis of Norwich, NY, Evelyn Jones of Elmira, NY, Delores Robinson of New York City, Beverly Brooks of Ohio; one granddaughter and several grandchildren. He served in the United States Navy WWII 1943-1946 and was a member of the VFW in Ithaca, NY. He worked as a independent mason and helped build several buildings and churches in the Ithaca area and Binghamton, NY. He will be missed greatly. A Memorial Service will be announced by family on the anniversary of his passing next year, for friends and family to attend at Stewart Park, Ithaca, NY.
