Wilmuth Dowlen Peacher
Wilmuth Dowlen Peacher, age 91 of Clarksville, TN, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.
She was born on November 22, 1921 in Montgomery County, TN to the late John Samuel Dowlen and Margaret Paschall Dowlen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Francis Peacher.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2 p.m., at Sango United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gordon Meadors officiating. Burial will be in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 4-7 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Wilmuth was a school teacher and social worker. She was a member of Sango United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Bill Peacher (Janice) of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Joy Roberts (Jack) and Joannie Evans of Clarksville, TN; brother, John Roe Dowlen of Clarksville, TN; two sisters, Susan Karnes of Roanoke, VA and Irma Dowlen Baker of Wilmington, NC; step-brother, Dan Riggins of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren, Jill McCain, Anthony Baggett, Jr., Jordan Rye, Dana Harris, Joe Roberts, Julianne Evans, Jenna Leigh Peacher and Jessica Hamaker; and seven great- grandchildren, Trey McCain, Baylee Baggett, Drew Baggett, Cole Smith, Barrett Harris, Jack L. Roberts and Emma Rye.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Baggett, Jr., Joe Roberts, Jack Roberts, Michael Rye, Terry Resha and Johnny Dowlen.
