LAKELAND - Georgia E. Williams, 93, passed away from natural causes on Aug. 18, 2013.
Mrs. Williams was born in Clinton County, IN on Oct. 27, 1919 to the late
Harry and Mary Tobin. She worked as a bookkeeper for Dr. James R. Drake in Anderson, IN, and was a member of the Elks Club and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland. She also volunteered her time at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Williams was also a past gold medalist at the Bartow
Senior Euchre Tournament.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Williams; son, John Williams; brother, Tom Tobin; sisters, Cecilia Mock, Frances Drake, Eleanor Shinnerer and Marcella Mc-Clain; nephew, James R. Drake; and niece, Ann Snyder. She is survived by her sons, Pat Reva Williams of FL, Michael Sharon Williams of WI and Steve Ellen Williams of IN; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; nephews, Larry Betty Mock and Tim Ann McClain; nieces, Mary Lou Dick Hazelton and Judy Drake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Sat. at 10 30 am at St.
Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland, with interment to follow at Lakeland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anderson, IN or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lakeland.
