LAKE WALES - Larry Loren Williams, 70 died on December 5th from a biliary obstruction. He lives on in the memories of his wife of fifty years, Judith Ann Williams, daughter Teresa Louise Williams, son John Robert Williams (Stacy West Williams), grandchildren Jenna Bell, Justin Williams, Jaime Williams and brother Robert Wesley Williams (Lavina Williams) and family.
Larry was born in Windermere, Florida and lived in central Florida all his life. He and his high school sweetheart, Judy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April of this year. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and shared his love for hunting and fishing with his friends and family.
Larry attended the University of Florida before falling for his love of automobiles. He became General Manager of Bartow Ford at the age of 29 and was the youngest Ford dealer in the State by the age of 32, when he opened Williams-Phillips Ford in Lake Wales. His multiple business accomplishments include owning VIP Systems and Accurate Ozone Solutions. His influence in the car business was far reaching as he touched many with his humor, honesty and salesmanship. He remained an avid Gator fan all his life.
For those of you who knew him, you know there are many stories to tell. He lived a good, long life, full of love and laughter and his friends will remember him with smiles. A celebration of life will be scheduled at his home after the New Year.
