LAKE HAMILTON - Pandora Cole Lewis, 73, went Home to Glory on Wednesday, 6-4-14 at her residence in Lake Hamilton, Florida from heart failure.
Born on October 5, 1940 in Campabella, South Carolina to the late Luster and Hattie Tinsley. She attended school in South Carolina, Mary McCleod High School in Inman, S.C. then later moved to Haines City, Florida in 1953 and attended and graduated from Oakland High School. She also attended Russell Business College in Winston-Salem, N.C. earning a B.S. degree. Simultaneously she worked for Corporative Extension out of Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y. and the University of Florida in Gainesville then retired.
She leaves fond memories with 4 children: Priscilla Kemp (Red), Montrose Baines (Steve), Ron Cole (Paige) and Sean Cole, 4 step-children: Latasha and John Cole, Michael and Anthony Lewis, 7 grandchildren; Terry, Jr., Catrice, Tequila, Todd, Steven Jr. Anayiah and Kedrick, 2 great grands: Asia and Tyland, a brother Tony Tinsley, extended family members and a host of dear friends.
Mother Pandora will repose on Friday from 6-8 pm at the St. Paul Primitive B.C, 720 Avenue C, Haines City, FL. Homegoing services will be held on Saturday, 2 pm, Parkview Christian Center, 3520 Baker Rd. Haines City, FL.
