PAUL IRVING PEACHEE, 74

LAKELAND - Paul Irving Peachee, 74 years old, of Lakeland, Polk County, Florida died June 23, 2013 of respiratory failure at home. He was born on January 25, 1939 south of Glendale, Harrison Township in Daviess County, Indiana.
Paul was the son of Preston Phillip & Mary Esther (Graham/Boyles) Peachee, I. He graduated from Washington High School, Washington, Indiana in 1956.
He was first married to Delrose Montgomery (deceased) from New Albany, Floyd County, Indiana in Washington, Daviess County, Indiana in 1959. They had 5 children: Duane, Dennis (Miona) of Lakeland, Polk County Florida, David, Dane (Rachel) of Columbia, Maury County Tennessee and Deane (Becky) of Loogootee, Martin County Indiana.
He was formerly married to Anna Frances Ellis and had 2 children, Tyler and Katie, both of Lakeland, Polk County Florida.
He is survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grand children.
Paul worked with F.C. Woolworth before moving to Florida, where he worked as a General Contractor and Real Estate Broker. He served in the Army Reserve.
Paul was preceded in death by sisters Mary Kathleen Duncan, Gena Utley and brothers Keith, Arthur David and Kipling. Paul is survived by brother Merle of Jasper, Dubois County Indiana.
A memorial service will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church, 202 South Iowa Ave., Lakeland FL 33801 on Tuesday, June 25th at 6:00 pm with visitation beginning at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Cornerstone Hospice of Polk County.
