LAKELAND - Robert "Bob" Kilpatrick, age 87, passed away Tuesday April 30, 2013 of heart failure at L.R.M.C.
Bob was born on July 2, 1925 in Bradley, Fl. to John F. & Effie (Whidden) Kilpatrick. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force (W.W.II). Bob worked for CSX Railroad as a Train Master. Bob moved to Lakeland in 1980 from St. Pete. Bob was a member of Mt. Enon Primitive Baptist Church.
Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years Margaret Willis Kilpatrick, daughter Martha Nell Kil-patrick, daughter Mary Frances (Fran) Kilpatrick Whaley and husband Neil, granddaughter Margaret Kristen Whaley Chaves and husband Fabricio Chaves Miranda, great grandsons Lucas and Samuel Chaves, sisters Nell Kilpatrick Turner, Patricia Kilpatrick Holleman, brother Donald (Mickey) Kilpatrick, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lakeland Volunteers in Medicine, 1021 Lakeland Hills Blvd., Lakeland, FL, 33805, in memory of Bob. Visitation will be held Thursday May 2, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Chapel, Hwy. 60 E. Mulberry, Fl. Funeral services will be Friday May 3, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. at Seigler Funeral Home-Chapel. Condolences may be sent to the family @
