Obituary Condolences Flowers

EDWARD CLAY DUKE SAN JUAN - Edward Clay Duke, age 68, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Edward was proud to be a veteran and a patriot. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, where he earned the following medals: Vietnam Service Medal, One Bronze Star & the Purple Heart Medal. He lived in San Juan most of his life and worked for many years for the Edinburg Livestock Sale Yard up until his passing. He is survived by a sister, Joyce (Don) Winters, a nephew, Michale Hill, several grandnieces & grandnephews, and a great friends Ismael (Smiley) Ortega and Rudy Flores. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Skinner-Silva Funeral Home of Pharr from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A private interment of his cremated remains will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the RGV State Veteran's Cemetery in Mission. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Alfredo Gonzalez and staff, his Caregiver Zoila Ramirez, Nurses That Care Home Health, Hospice Compassionate Care & Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance staff.
