FERNANDO G. LIVAS Obituary
FERNANDO G. LIVAS Woodlands, TX – Fernando G. Livas, 94, passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Woodlands Health Care in Woodlands, TX. Mr. Livas was born October 6, 1919 in Falfurias, TX to Juan & Juanita Livas. He was a WWII veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents; hiswife, Albina V. Livas & daughter, Sylvia Sendejo. Mr. Livas is survived by 4 sons, FernandoLivas, Jr. (Ludivina) of Las Vegas, NV, Oscar Livas (Brenda) of Houston, TX, Arturo Livas (Janie) of Edinburg, TX, Carlos Livas (Linda) of Corpus Christi,TX; 3 daughters, Diana Livas (Richard) of Lockhart, TX, Dalia De Leon (Oscar)of Houston, TX, Cynthia Olivarez (Robert) of Corpus Christi, TX; 1 brother,Ruben Livas (Nicolasa) of Plainview, TX & 2 sisters, Leonor Bazan &Elia Flores (Juan), both of Austin, TX. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren & 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., today, Sunday, February 2, 2014, with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Angels. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, Texas. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Military graveside services will be under the auspices of Sgt. Benito Salinas VFW Post 7473. Pallbearers will be Ben Livas, Daniel Livas, Adrian Livas, Michael De Leon, Jaime Livas & Ruben Sendejo.
