JORGE GUADALUPE LIMON SR. MISSION - Jorge Guadalupe Limon Sr., 85, passed away on September 25, 2013 at Mission Regional Medical Center. Jorge was born in Mission and was a life long resident. He loved to serve others, having served in the Army and as a Volunteer Rescue Swimmer for the Mission Fire Department. Jorge worked as a truck driver and in his later years he loved to talk about his many travels. He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa S. Limon, parents Juan Limon and Rosalia Gonzalez, granddaughter Erica Adriana Perez and son in law Rafael Vaquera. He is survived by his children: Sylvia Blanco, Mericelda (Rey) Garcia, Imelda L. Vaquera, Jorge G. (Vera) Limon, Jr., Leo Luis (Gina) Limon, Sr., Roselia L. (Mike) Segundo, Lydia (Marcos) Perez, Larry L. Limon. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Carlos R. (Eva) Blanco, Amanda I. (Aroldo) Solis, AnnaLisa (Chris) White, Rey David (Erica) Garcia, Teresa L. (Albert) Garcia, Marco A. (Vanessa) Vaquera, Anthony Limon, Erica Sanchez, Sarah E. Limon, Leo L. (Bernice) Limon, Jr., Laura L. (Angel) Garza, Leticia L. (Edgar) Garza, V. Mercedes Limon, Ben Rivera, Arturo D. (Amy) Rivera, Marcos M. Perez, Issac J. (Tiffany) Perez, Nicholas Perez, Marissa B. Limon, Ezequiel (Zeke) Limon, 23 great-grandchildren and was awaiting the arrival of two more great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Ric Brown Family Funeral home on Friday September 27, 2013 from 2 pm – 9 pm with a rosary at 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 2:30 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission.
