Frank Campbell Hays, Sr

Frank Campbell Hays, Sr. was born in Monroe, LA. on October 16, 1958 to the union of Rosina Lisottata Hays and T. Patrick Hays. He passed away, following a brief illness, on March 19, 2014. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Phil Hays, grandmother, Mica Lisotta, and uncle, Philip Lisotta.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Rev. Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Frank was a member of New Life Church of God in Bastrop and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Frank was known to be a great cook, specializing in Italian and crawfish dishes. To his friends and Sunday school class he was known as "Bobby Crocker."

Frank is survived by his children, twins, Beaux Hays and Danielle Hays, daughter, Hayley Hays, grandsons, Bennett and Campbell Hays, sisters, Mickey Bennett and Susan Hays, brother, T. Patrick Hays, Jr., sister-in-law, Michelle Hays, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are James Hays, Randall Moore, Dr. Michael Vanderlick, Tim Miletello, Vince Giovingo, and Marsh Nolan.

Honorary pallbearers are Chipper West, Rick Lee, Wendal May, and George Kennedy.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 22nd, beginning at 12 noon until time for services at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Frank was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
