Majorie Wade Terral
Funeral services for Marjorie Wade Terral, age 90, of Farmerville, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Farmerville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Kurt Auger. Interment will follow at Farmerville Cemetery in Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Marjorie was born on March 6, 1923 and passed away on March 26, 2013. She was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University as salutatorian of her class, with advanced degrees from LA. Tech and Louisiana State University. She touched many lives while a teacher at Farmerville High School. After retirement, she led an active life and was very involved with her church at First Baptist Church. She leaves many family and friends behind and wants all to know that she will meet them at the gates of Heaven.
She is survived her sons, Dr. James S. Wade Jr., and wife Beryl of Lafayette, LA; David L. Wade and wife Claudia of Farmerville, LA; Philip T. Wade and wife Carol of Bossier City, LA; step-daughters, Renee Whatley and husband Larry of Lake Providence, LA; Edna Gattle and husband Tom of Lake Providence, LA; step-sons Danny Terral and wife Amy of Lake Providence, LA; Travis Terral and wife Christy of Claremont, OK; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and six great step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Preaus, Joe Preaus, Stephen Post, Donnie Gates, Stein Baughman, Jr., and Thomas Wade.Honorary Pallbearers will be Zeke Tettleton, Chiles Carpenter, Malvin Sistrunk, Richard Revels, Mark Taylor Wade, John Philip Wade, and David Adam Wade.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

I did not know this lovely lady, but I do know her granddaughter, Lauren Wade, who loves her grandmother so much, said many prayers for her and talks of her own Christianity and ministry and is a living legacy of this wonderful woman. God Bless all the Family.

Jim,David and Phil. so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother.Miss majorie will always have a place in my memories. Remember the times we use to load hay after school and on sat.I'd see her at Walmart she would always stop and talk for a while.
