Funeral services for Myrtice Lee Baxter Laster will be 11:00 am, Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Rocky Branch Church of Christ in Rocky Branch, LA with Bro. Don Delukie officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery, all under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe and Saturday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Myrtice was born on September 20, 1931 in Calhoun, LA and went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2013 Farmerville, LA surrounded by her family. She retired from General Motors and was a member of Rocky Branch Church of Christ.

Myrtice was preceded in death by her parents Ellis and Mae Baxter; an infant son Aubrey Lynn Laster; daughter-in-law Sally Laster.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Aubrey Laster; daughters Nita Laster and Jane Laster; sons Wayne Laster and Tommy Laster; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a special aunt Louise Griggs; sisters Erlene Elmore, Velva Collins and husband BW, Janice Zuber, and Dianne Mayner; brothers Hilton Baxter, Johnny Baxter and Charles Baxter and wife Sandra.

Pallbearers are Charles Laster, Jimmy Laster, Bruce Laster, Keith Laster, Chris Sturdivant, and Andrew Sturdivant.
