Patricia F. Riley

Patricia F. Riley was born September 15, 1930 in Jena, LA and passed away January 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. David Richter officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Burial will be in St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Riley was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Riley, Jr.; and her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Paul E. Finley.

She is survived by her children: son, William Joseph Riley, III, his spouse Mary Jane, their daughters, Megan Mary and Erin Elizabeth; son, Dr. Paul Coleman Riley, his spouse Candace, their sons, Paul Coleman Riley, Jr. and Ryan Patrick; and daughter, Mary Patricia Riley.

Mrs. Riley attended Louisiana State University, where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a former member of the Junior League of Monroe, the Monroe Garden Club, and a current member of the Bayou DeSiard County Club.

Her most poignant membership was that of her beloved "Bridge Club", with whom she played bridge with for over 50 years. She will always be remembered for her love of the LSU Fighting Tigers football team.

Pallbearers for Thursday's rite of Christian burial will be Ryan Patrick Riley, Ken Breard, Judge Milton Moore, Fredrick Fudickar, Lyle Miller, and Tom Hayes.
