Dutscheck Sr., James "Jim' E.

James "Jim" E. Dutscheck Sr., 75, of Oshkosh, passed away on August 25, 2013, at home surrounded by his family. James was born on May 25, 1938, to John and Stella (Rohlinger) Dutscheck in Milwaukee, Wis. James married his grade school sweetheart, Barbara Dolenshek on January 3rd, 1959. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage.

James proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1956-1959. James loved working as a custodian and bus driver in the Necedah Area School District, where he enjoyed being called "Grandpa Dutscheck", not only by his own grandchildren, but by all the kids. James was very grateful for many things in his life, but took the most pride in boasting about his children and grandchildren. James will be known for spending countless number of hours making thousands of rosaries for various family, friends, and missionaries. We are proud to say some of James' rosaries have been blessed by the Pope. James had many hobbies to include: fishing, camping, and card playing, but it was most important to him to pray everyday. The family requests you continue to pray for James, by saying his 3 favorite prayers; The Rosary, The Divine Mercy Chaplet and The Stations of the Cross, which James could recite by heart.

James is survived by his wife, Barbara; seven children, David (Carrie) of Necedah; Peggy (Caryn) of Oshkosh; Penny (Brian) Seebruck of Necedah; Daniel (Terese) of Necedah; Douglas (Laura) of Oshkosh; James Jr. (Julie) of Oshkosh; and Joseph (April) of Oshkosh; sister, Stella Wilson of New Berlin; brothers, John of West Allis; Robert (Rita) of Muskego; Richard (Sue) of Jefferson; 25 grandchildren, Theresa (Jennifer), Christopher, Amber (Mitch), Katrina (Ryan), Eric (fiancée Melissa), Amanda, Renee, Peter, Brittany, Joshua, Isaiah, Anthony, Nathaniel, Christa, Raegan, Madelyn, Mason, Marissa, Noelle, Lindsey, Abigail, Conor, James III, Trinity, and Samuel: five great- grandchildren, Bella, Trennon, Braeden, Breckin, and Aurora.

James was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen Radliff, an infant son, Dennis, and an infant grandson, David.

The Mass of Christian Burial for James will be held in TWO locations. Mass will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 1 p.m. at St. Jude the Apostle, 1225 Oregon St, Oshkosh Wisconsin, with Fr. Matt Simonar officiating. There will be visitation Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. with a 12:15 p.m. rosary at the church in Oshkosh. Mass will also be held Friday, August 30, 2013, 1 p.m. at St. Francis Assisi, 2001 S. Main St, Necedah WI, with Fr. Joseph Redfern officiating. There will be a visitation also at St. Francis from 10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. with a 12:15 rosary at the church in Necedah. James will be laid to rest at St. Francis of Assisi cemetery, Necedah following Mass.

The family wishes to thank everyone who had a part in James' last journey.

James favorite prayer, "I can do all things through God who strengthens me" Phil 4:13
