Toussaint, Warren J.
Warren J. Toussaint, age 87, of Oshkosh, died Thursday September 26, 2013 at King Veteran's Home. He was born February 17, 1926 in Milwaukee the son of Raymond and Wilhelmina Toussaint. On October 27, 1950 he married Norma Klein in Milwaukee.
Warren was a 30 year veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of American Legion Cook Fuller Post #70 where he was a Past Commander. He was a member of Sojourners, and the Masons. Warren enjoyed reading and barber shopping.
He is survived by his wife Norma, two sons Dale (Robin), Cary (Elizabeth), one daughter, Debby Toussaint and one sister Joyce (Bob) Mutters in addition to ten grandchildren: Rebecca, Meghan, James, Lindsay, Paden, Daniel, Abigail, Andrew, Phillip, Jacob, and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service for Warren will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dirve). A time of showing support for the family will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. which will include military honors. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers it is suggested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, Warren's favorite charity. www.woundedwarriorproject.org
