John Brunetti John was born Sept. 13, 1928 in Yelm, WA, where he lived with his parents (Bruno and Rosa) and four brothers (Frank, Charlie, Louie and Joe) who are all deceased. He graduated from YHS where he played football. He served four years in the US Army during the Korean War. He raised his two children in the Hoodsport area with his first wife, Donna Dickgieser. He had resided with his beloved companion, Vera Boivin, in the Littlerock area from 1992-2013, where he kept happily busy splitting 100 cords of firewood, maintaining an acre of landscaped yard, digging clams, fishing, visiting many places in Washington, as well as going on a cruise to Alaska. He passed away from cancer on March 15, 2013, surrounded by his blended family of children and grandchildren: Steve and Denise Wilkins--Heather and Anna; John and Angie Brunetti--Bryce; Jeff and Kalle Boivin--Adam, Savannah and Sierra; Frank and Coreen Reno--Mike, Stacy and Alyssum; Rick Romo and Doree Boivin--Eldridge, Zach and Zane. John was truly loved and cherished and his extraordinary spirit will always live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Call family members for memorial details.
