CARBONDALE - Charles (Chuck) Glover, 80, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Boca Raton, Florida.

Charles was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Chicago, and was the only child of Charles and Laura Glover.
Chuck was an Eagle Boy Scout and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He married his first wife, Corinne, in 1954, and had five children. In 1974, he married his second wife, Mary (Dee), and had just celebrated his 38th wedding anniversary.
Chuck began a long career in mobile home sales and rentals in 1954 in Cape Girardeau. He later established his business in Carbondale. Chuck loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Throughout his life, he was actively involved in the Elks, Eagles and Moose clubs where he enjoyed playing soft-ball, poker, bridge and other card games.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Dee; five children, including sons, Charles Glover and Clark Glover, both of Florida; daughters, Christine Parupia of California, Cynthia Smith of North Carolina and Cathleen Gerzina of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale.
