RED BUD - John Clay Daffron, 74, died at 12:11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in St. Louis University Hospital.
Services with military rites will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin. Those attending the services are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Memorials may be made to any VFW post.
Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin is in charge of arrangements.
