Bruce Errol Lenois, age 66, passed away September 9, 2013 in the Intermountain Dixie Regional Medical Center Hospital in St. George, Utah after fighting a long battle of numerous health issues. He was born November 15, 1946 in Stafford Springs, Connecticut to Kenneth Arthur Lenois, Sr. and Evelyn Louise (Sulham) Lenois. He married Christiane Eva Elsa Shuitt in 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah and divorced two years after the birth of their daughter, Renee Cherie (Lenois) Butler on May 22, 1972. Bruce married his second wife, Sandra Kay Powers on June 4, 1977 in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on April 6, 1998 in the St. George Utah LDS Temple, as they were sealed for time and all eternity. His parents and his sister Judith Agnes Butler preceded Bruce in death. He spent his misspent teenage years first in Rockville, Utah and then in Orem, Utah. He received his Bachelor's Degree at Weber State University and then became a journeyman machinist working for Dynapac, Gallagher and as an engineer at Hercules. He later worked in management for Powder River prior to leaving the work environment due to health concerns. Bruce and his wife then moved from the city life to their property in Toquerville, Utah where Bruce was able to enjoy his favorite hobbies, which included anything outdoors from fishing, hunting, riding horses and four-wheelers into the mountains or out on the desert.
A special thanks to Reese and Carol Straw, Dr. Gregory Last, and Applegate HomeCare & Hospice, specifically his nurse Bob Murry, his physical therapist Ray Brazier and his CNA Moira Breck, along with the recent addition to Bruce's personal friends and caregivers Jackie MacLellan and Clint Iverson.
