- Perry Luther Moss, 83, passed away peacefully at home Tuesday morning July 2, 2013 of kidney and congestive heart failure. Perry was an Army veteran of the Korean War (Sargeant, 72nd division) graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, design engineer on the Apollo program, loving husband and father, and devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He lived a full and fruitful life.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Anna May Freeman; children: Janet Bremmer (Robert), Teresa Friedrichs (Edgar), Mike Moss (Julie), Karen Risueno (Rick); step-children: Greg Francom (Beverly), Dale Francom (Brenda), Brion Francom (Brenda); 25 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; beloved friends; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his first wife, Shirley Dorothy Margaret Vonk in 1989.
Services Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at the LDS church 481 N. Main Street, La Verkin, UT 84745. Viewing 9:00 am with services at 10:00 am. Arrangements made by Heideman Hughes Mortuary, 1037 E. 700 S. St. George, (435)674-5000. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Perry's behalf to one of the LDS church programs: Missionary Fund or Perpetual Education Fund.
