Greg Bowden Obituary

Cedar City-

Greg M. Bowden-56 died peacefully at home, December 17, 2013.

He was born October 13, 1956 in Cedar City, UT to Kenneth & Lucille (Johnny) Bowden.

Greg graduated from Beaver High School where he was very active in sports. He grew up in the beautiful Beaver Mountains, camping and hunting with his family.

He served 4 years in the US Navy and 15 Years with the Utah National Guard 222nd as Ammunitions Chief.

He married Lila Turner Bowden in 1991 they spent the last 22 years living in Cedar City.

Greg was an accomplished Mechanic, loved cars (1972 Chevelle) and his neighborhood.

There wasn't a job he wasn't willing to tackle, and he was a perfectionist in each and every task! He took great pride in being an honest and reliable Mechanic and made sure his tools were in perfect condition and order.

Greg is survived by his Wife; Lila T Bowden, Son; Dale Bowden of Gunnison, UT, Stepson; Cameron (Liz) Davis of Washington D.C. Brandon (McCall) Davis of Minersville, UT, Zachary Davis of Dover, Delaware, Wyatt (Mia) Davis of Henderson, NV. Brothers; Steve Bowden of San Antonio, TX, Mark Bowden of Beaver, UT Sisters; Carol Bowden (Penny Thill) , Linda Sims (Dan-Deceased), Sister in Law; Naomi Bowden (Dean-Deceased) and a great bunch of Nieces and Nephews.

Greg is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother; Dean Bowden (Beaver, UT) and Brother in Law; Dan Sims (Reno, NV.)

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the Cedar City Cemetery.
