KLAUS WALTER SCHLAAK WWII Veteran, Industrial Engineer Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Scarborough General Hospital at the age of 86. Survived by his wife Maria and step-daughter Nataly Bru. Will be sadly missed by his brother Wolfgang Schlaak and his wife Daniela and Daniela's mother Renate, niece Sheila, nephews Steven and Kevin. Predeceased by his wife Trautel (passed away in 2007) and his parents Walter and Charlotte Schlaak. Klaus will be fondly remembered by Chris, Karen and all his friends from the park. Klaus was a warm hearted man, whose humour, patience and generosity was felt by all who knew him. He was loved by all. Visitation will be held at the Scarborough Chapel of McDougall & Brown, 2900 Kingston Road (east of St. Clair Ave. E.) on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 a.m. Cremation to follow.
