WILLIAM SPAULS On May 8, 2014 in Toulon, France. Born in Lawrence, MA, USA on August 28, 1924. Moved to Toronto at age two with his parents and sister Eva. Served with the US Army in Europe during WWII. Educated at Vaughan Road Collegiate and the Radio College of Canada. Worked briefly in New York State after the war. William married Norma (Stevenson) and settled in Toronto working as a Police Officer (38 years). They had two sons, John William and Jeffery Charles. William married Margaret (Temple) after Norma's death in 1977 and Frederika (Slag) in 1986, after Margaret's death. They lived in Paris until the turn of the century and moved to Toulon to enjoy the Mediterranean climate. John and his wife Norma-Jean and their children Caitlin, Bronwen and Declan all visited, as did other relatives and friends from around the world. William loved Frederika, pursued his interests and enjoyed his family and friends to the end of his days. What man could ask for more...
