KELMAN, Doug
Doug Kelman (born Jan, 27, 1940) passed away unexpectedly on February 19th in his home in Gibsons, BC. He will be remembered by his wife Pat, his son Scott, his daughter-in- law Rosie and his daughter Cheryl. Doug was a life long volunteer. He was a proud member of the Saskatoon Kinsmen Club, a member of the Opticians Guild, and he served on both the city and provincial Park and Recreations Boards while living in Saskatoon. Doug and his wife moved to the Sunshine Coast in 1997. He loved life on the coast where he curled, was a member of the Rotary Club, and where he played golf almost daily. He served the last few years on the board of the Sunshine Coast Golf and Country Club. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Dad's life will be held at the golf course on Tuesday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The Kinsmen Telemiracle (in SK), The Rotary Hospital Fund (Rotary Club of Gibsons) or the Gibsons Volunteer Fire Department.
