FRANKLIN, Peter John
July 4, 1921 - November 6, 2013
The passing of Peter Franklin, of Outlook, Sask., occurred on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Outlook & District Health Centre, at the age of 92 years. Peter was born in Brody, Poland on July 4, 1921 and came to Canada at the age of 7. He was a graduate of Campion College in Regina and joined the army in World War II and served in the Dental Corp overseas for 1 1/2 years. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Canadian Legion for 65 years. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Doris of Outlook; his son, Bob (Donna) Franklin; 2 granddaughters, Colette (Ken) Vincent and Heather (Declan) Odermatt; 4 great grandchildren, Danny, Maria, Sierra & Alisha; 2 step great grandchildren, Kaylin and Cody; sister-in-law, Jean (Ken) McIntosh; 2 brothers-in-law, Florian Schlosser and George Lylyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister- in-law, Mary Ann Schlosser; and by his parents, Joseph and Mary Franklin. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Outlook, Sask. with Father Joseph Gyim- Austin officiating.
