Alan K. Walker Sr., 67, of Tunk­hannock, died Friday morning at his home.

Born in Binghamton, N.Y., on Jan. 5, 1947, son of Betty J. Walker and the late Herbert L. Walker, Lexington, Ky., he graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1964. He was a Vietnam veteran, who served with the Army Transportation Battalion. Alan worked at Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany. He was a member of the Hallstead American Legion Post 357 and the VFW.

He was an avid lover of NASCAR. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Lake Carey Rod and Gun Club.

Also surviving are two sons, Alan K. Walker Jr. and his wife, Heather, Chapel Hill, N.C.; and Matthew J. Walker and his wife, Megan, Nicholson; a brother, Scott W. Walker, Lexington; a sister, Darlene D. Dixon and her husband, Larry, Richmond, Ky.; a niece, Callie L. Valle; a nephew, Dale W. Walker; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Madison and Blake Walker.

A memorial luncheon will be held Wednesday at noon at the Hallstead American Legion.
