Frank A. Morell, Dunmore, died Sunday at home. His wife is the former Mary Catherine Frye Morell. The couple would have celebrated 35 years of marriage on Sept. 11.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Albert P. and Minnie L. Garrison Morell, he was a member of St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church and a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School. He attended Keystone College, where he received his bachelor's degree, Mansfield University and Marywood College, where he received his master's degree. Frank was employed by Dunmore School District as a teacher at Dunmore Elementary School for 35 years. Before retirement, he owned and operated the FA Morell Motor Co. He was a past member of the Corvette Club and the Scranton Pool League.

Frank enjoyed working on and collecting cars. He was a loving husband and father.

Also surviving are two daughters, Ann L. Morell, at home; and Katie M. Morell, who just graduated from Ohio State University on Sunday with a Ph.D. in music; a sister, Mary Lou DelVecchio, Chandler, Ariz.; nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Eagen-Hughes Funeral Home, 2908 Birney Ave., Scranton.
