John P. "Jack" Clark, 85, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Clarks Summit, died Thursday at Tidewell Hospice House, Bradenton. His wife of 30 years is the former Ruth Robinson Beck.

He graduated from Scranton High School and enlisted in the Navy. He was employed as a salesman for Endicott Johnson Shoe Co. John was a 60-year member of the Shriners, Masons, Elks American Legion and the Canoe Club.
Also surviving are a daughter, Gail J. Clark, Scranton; brother, Gilbert Clark and wife, Ann, Afton, N.Y.; and sister, DeEtta Edwards and husband, William, Bradenton.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Steven T. Clark.
A memorial service will be at Ironwood Rec Hall, Bradenton. Contributions: Tidewell Hospice House and Trinity UMC, Bradenton.
