Paul H. Le-Vance, 73, died Saturday due to cancer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Virginia P. LeVance of Winter Haven, Fla., formerly of Jessup.

Mr. LeVance was born Aug. 20, 1940, in East Orange, N.J. He moved to Winter Haven, Fla., from Conyers, Ga., in 1973, where he was a plant manager for Bassett Bedding and later a school bus driver for the Polk County School System. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus 7091, 4th Degree 2608 and a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Winter Haven, Fla.
He is also survived by sons, Michael P. LeVance and David P. LeVance (Nancy) both of Winter Haven, Fla.; sisters, Patricia Blackwell (Ken) of Cohutta, Ga.; and Lorrie Ellen Hollman (Richard) of Leesburg, Fla.; and grandchildren, Jessica Dame (Kevin), Danielle, Joshua, Luke and Justin LeVance.
Memorial Mass will be Saturday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Winter Haven, Fla.
