Raymond C. Cobb, 75, of Franklin Hill, Pa., entered into rest on Aug. 11, 2014, at his home.

He was the son of the late Clifford and Evelyn Chamberlin Cobb. Ray was also predeceased by his brothers, Kenny Cobb, Floyd Cobb and Francis Cobb; and a sister, Bonnie Lou Yarnes.

He is survived by four brothers, Harold Cobb, Garry and DeLores Cobb, James and Donna Cobb and Dale and Judy Cobb; numerous nieces and nephews; and a close friend and fellow retired state trooper, John Prushinski.

Ray served with the United States Marine Corps. He then served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper, criminal investigator and fire marshal. He proudly served his community. Upon retiring, Ray worked with Rich for Tom Beese in caring for properties in the Franklin Hill area. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on flower beds, mowing, hunting and fishing. Ray would help his friends or neighbors in any way he could.

A memorial service will be held privately with inurnment in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home Inc. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to your local fire department.
