Robert J. Keyasko, 83, of Madison Twp., died Thursday at VNA Hospice Inpatient Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy (Vadovsky) Keyasko.

Born in Olyphant, son of the late Andrew J. and Helen (Sidlousky) Keyasko, he graduated from Throop High School and proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. Before retirement, Robert worked at RCA and then Thomson Electronics. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish, Throop, and St. Catherine of Siena Church, Moscow.

Robert enjoyed flying and building model airplanes and woodworking, loved to play golf and was an avid reader. He also had a passion for taking pictures, especially of flowers and scenery.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two sisters-in-law, Lillian Minella and Margaret Livingston; a brother-in-law, Angelo Talarico; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, as a toddler; three brothers-in-law, Sandy Minella, Charles Livingston and Jacob E. Vadovsky; and a sister-in-law, Joan Talarico.

A blessing service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp., by the Rev. Robert Simon, pastor of Church of St. Catherine of Siena. Interment will be private.

A visitation will be Thursday from 5 until the time of the service. Cremation will have taken place at Brian Arthur Strauch Cremation Center and Crematory in Lehigh Twp.
