Conrad A. Busch St. Clair Conrad A. Busch, age 92, died Saturday April 26, 2014. Conrad was born January 12, 1922 in Buffalo, New York to the late Adam and Charlotte Busch. Conrad was a WW II Veteran. He enlisted in the US Army Air Corps in 1942, serving with the 1st Weather Squadron in the China, Burma and India Theaters and was discharged in 1946. He married Veronica L. Lampert on August 17,1947 at the St. Clare de Montefalco Church, in Grosse Pointe Park, and she preceded him in death on November 10, 2013. Conrad was associated with Detroit area tool and die shops and automotive parts manufactures since April 1940, finishing his apprenticeship in 1943. He retired as an automotive engineer from the Budd Engineering Facility, in Rochester, Michigan. Conrad was a member of Mensa International Society Southeast Michigan Chapter, St. Clair K of C, VFW Post 796 of Port Huron, American Legion St. Clair Post and St. Mary's Catholic Church. He loved to golf and read. He is survived by his four sons, Doug Busch, Alan (Donna) Busch, Brian (Paula) Busch and Craig Busch, grand children Dennis, Jimmy and Mary, brother Robert Busch. He was also preceded in death by a brother Francis Busch. Visitation Tuesday in the Young Funeral home from 2-8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. In state Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic church, St. Clair from 10 a.m. till mass at 11 a.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
