After graduating from Port Huron High School in 1963, he served in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968, which included deployment in Vietnam. He became skilled in many different trades over the course of his working life, including construction, welding, and HVAC. He loved the outdoors, was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America, Veterans of Foreign War Post 8465, and Disabled Veterans of America. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and his sister, Celia Sesi (Marks).
His family and friends are blessed with the legacy of his caring spirit. There will be a memorial service in his honor on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish Church 79780 Main Street in Memphis. On behalf of Ken, thank you to all of his friends, family, and those with whom he served, for their daily thoughts and prayers throughout his illness, and protection while he served.
