Funeral Services for Carson M. Nardini, Sr. will be held at 10: a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2013 and again on Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service, all at the funeral home.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday in the Kramer chapel.
Carson M. Nardini, Sr., 84, of Alexandria passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents Emile Joseph and Louise Ozeat Rachal Nardini, and his wife Pauline Marie Rand Nardini.
Carson was born February 4, 1929 in the city of Natchitoches. He is a United States Air Force Veteran and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. Carson was a brakeman for Missouri Pacific Railroad and retired after 20 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memories include his two sons: Joseph Paul Nardini and his wife Michele of Baton Rouge, and Carson M. Nardini, Jr. and his wife Karen of Alexandria; one daughter, Alice Nanette Nardini of Alexandria, seven grandchildren: Christa Branton and her husband Bobby, Gerald LaCaze, Jr. and his wife Katie, Blair Jeanise and her husband John, Haley Perot and her husband Josh, Lindsay Nardini, Jennifer Mestayer, and Dr. Lauren Barfield and her husband Dr. Louis Barfield; eight great grandchildren: Skylar Branton, Preston Branton, Daxton LaCaze, Juliana Barfield, Mia Barfield, Ramsey Branton, Carter Branton and Carson Suzanne Perot.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Gerald LaCaze, Jr., Bobby Branton, John Jeanise, Josh Perot Lee Murphy and Ryan Dasko.
Honorary pallbearers will be O.J. McKay, Bud Sweeney, and R.B. Middleton.
