A memorial gathering for Mr. Keith Michael Hall, 40, of New Orleans, died January 14, 2014 at his home, will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

Hall was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, February 18, 1973 to Janice and Michael Hall. He attended Louisiana School for the Math, Science, and Arts and graduated from Holy Savior Menard High School in 1991, continued on to Tulane and completed his B. S. in Accounting from Louisiana State University's prestigious internal auditing program in 2004.

Mr. Hall, an Eagle Scout, worked in public finance for Louisiana State Employees Retirement System, the DOTD, the Division of Administration, and the LA Department of Health and Hospitals in Baton Rouge and most recently was employed at Fresenius Medical Care in New Orleans.

Keith was noted for his kindness, brilliance, and pursuit of scholarship,

particularly in the areas of math, finance, and computer programming. Friends

admired his sense of humor, love of live music, connoisseurship of jazz, natural curiosity, and of course, his vast collection of unique concert t-shirts.

He was preceded in death by his father, R. Michael Hall; his paternal grandparents, Raymond F. and Patricia Whipple Hall of Rochester, New York and maternal grandfather, Henry A. Daigre, II.

Keith is survived by his mother, Janice Hall Smith of Boyce, sister, Mary Hall and brother, Nicholas Hall, of Boyce, and brother, Samuel Smith of Baton Rouge; his maternal grandmother, Patsy D. Myers; aunt, Jennifer Daigre; uncle, Henry A. Daigre, III; several great aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews. He was beloved by the children of his close friends and will be mourned by all.
