L. C. Ingram

L.C. Ingram, 91, of Alexandria, La. went from this world to his heavenly home on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Grace Home, Alexandria, La.

There will be a Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of LC Ingram on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 6:00 P.M., at Trinity Methodist Church, 5752 Bayou Rapides Rd. Alexandria, La.

L.C. was born in Greenwood, Mississippi on October 31, 1921.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Irene Clark Ingram.

Survivors include son Larry Ingram, wife LeAunna, Woodland Park, Colorado; adopted son and daughter, Clyde and Gayle Cedars, Alexandria, La.

LC was a member of the United States Navy, WW2 Veteran, awarded a Purple Heart. He worked for Mayflower and North America Van Lines. LC was a grateful member of a 12 Step Program for 52 years. He was also a retired Substance Abuse and Addiction Counselor, having worked in several of the Treatment Centers in the area as well as traveling Statewide helping people. He has helped numerous individuals, to many to count, to turn their life around and have a Happy, Joyous & Free way to Live. His special words for all he came in contact with was: Take One Day at a Time, Easy Does It, Let Go and Let God; Keep It Simple.
