Carole Bright Carole Bright, 75, of Henderson, NV, passed away December 20, 2013. She was born May 9, 1938. Carole was an outstanding debater first at Yakima Junior College and then at the
University of Washington
where she met her husband. Carole received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington and her Doctorate from San Francisco University where she received an award for the outstanding dissertation of the year. She worked in the Mental Health Clinic of Eureka, California and then served as debate coach at College of the Redwoods where she trained students who became national champions. After achieving her doctorate she moved to Professor of Social Work again at College of the Redwoods and several years later became Professor of the Year. She has spent the last fifteen years retired in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada. She had been active in the garden and women's club at Sun City Anthem. Her favorite charities were for abused animals and organizations that fought poverty and racism. She requested that no funeral be held.
