Donald Lee Archer Jr. Donald Lee Archer Jr. passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014, he was 58 years old. Donald was born November 18, 1955 to Donald Lee Archer Sr. and Martha Ann Archer in Garberville, Ca. Donnie grew up in Southern Humboldt County attending schools in Myers Flat, Weott, Miranda, and graduating from South Fork High School in 1973. Donnie met his wife of 35 years Debbie Davis, and married her in 1976, they lived in Miranda. In 1978 they welcomed their first child Leah Marie, and two years later they brought home their second daughter Grace Ann. Shortly after Grace's birth Donnie moved his growing family to Weott, bought their family home and in 1982 they welcomed their third child Seth Michael. Donnie was very active growing up and even played sports into adulthood. He loved fishing and trolled the local rivers and lakes for anything that would bite. Throughout his life he held many jobs from being a meat cutter in Ferndale to construction of all types. He also served as a volunteer
for Weott for 25 years. Donnie loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends. He is survived by his parents Donald Sr. and Martha Archer, his wife of 35 years and lifelong friend Debbie Archer, daughter Leah Willis and husband Jason and their children Arianna, Austin, Bradley and Donald, daughter Grace Archer and Paul Shelton and their children Lane and Abbigail Shelton, his son Seth Archer, sister Debbi Miller and husband Gary, sister Vonne Thomas and husband Dan, brother in law John Kopec, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His service will be held on Saturday, May 3 at Weott Faith Chapel at 11am. Please sign the guestbook at
