BARRE TOWN - A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Church in Barre for Alfred Carbonneau of Rudd Farm Drive who passed away on January 25, 2014, at the Central Vermont Medical Center.

The Rev. Leopold Bilodeau, pastor of the church, was the celebrant. Crucifer Fred Letourneau was the altar server and led the Prayer of the Faithful.

Organist and soloist Rosemary Badeau accompanied vocalists Ron Routhier and Richard Shadroui in the hymns "Here I Am, Lord," "Ave Maria," "How Great Thou Art" and "Song of Farewell."

Sr. Elizabeth Driscoll, RSM, read Scriptures from the Old and New Testament.

Burial will take place in St. Sylvester Cemetery on May 30, 2014, at 1:30 p.m.

Arrangements were in the care of the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home, 58 Summer Street, Barre.
